CN Green Roof Asia (CNGRA) is a provider of quality C&I Renewable projects in Vietnam and Indonesia. CNGRA finances renewable solutions, offering construction, operation, and maintenance services to customers. Established in 2021, CNGRA is a joint-venture between Climate Fund Managers - Climate Investor One and Norfund, with headquarters in Singapore.

ROLE OBJECTIVES AND GOALS

As part of CNGRA’s regional expansion, the Finance Manager in Indonesia will play a key role in supporting our mission to develop sustainable solar rooftop projects across Southeast Asia. The role will be pivotal in establishing strong financial operations, ensuring compliance, and enabling investment readiness in collaboration with our institutional backers, Climate Fund Managers (CFM) and Norfund.

POSITION SCOPE

The Finance Manager will lead and manage the overall finance function of Green Roof Indonesia, ensuring robust financial operations, compliance, and governance. This role will cover end-to-end financial management, including accounting, reporting, budgeting, taxation, cashflow, and internal controls. The Finance Manager will also provide financial insights to management and investors, support fundraising and investment activities, and help strengthen the company’s financial foundation as it continues to grow rapidly in Indonesia’s renewable energy sector.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Finance Manager will be responsible for:

  • Preparing and overseeing accurate and timely management accounts and financial reports.
  • Consolidating and presenting financial performance to management and institutional investors (CFM and Norfund).
  • Leading budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support decision-making.
  • Developing KPI dashboards and ensuring consistent reporting to management and shareholders.

Compliance & Governance

The Finance Manager will:

  • Establish, implement, and maintain accounting processes and internal controls.
  • Ensure compliance with Indonesian accounting standards, tax regulations, and company finance policies.
  • Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and legal consultants.

Cashflow & Treasury

The Finance Manager will:

  • Manage daily cashflow planning, monitoring, and forecasting.
  • Oversee loan management and ensure compliance with lender and regulatory requirements.
  • Optimize working capital and ensure adequate liquidity for operations and projects.

The Finance Manager will also coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities to ensure successful audits and statutory compliance.

Tax & Regulatory Management

The Finance Manager will ensure full compliance with Indonesian tax and regulatory obligations, including VAT, withholding tax, and corporate income tax filings, and design and implement internal controls to safeguard assets, prevent fraud, and ensure operational integrity.

Investment & Business Support

The Finance Manager will:

  • Conduct financial and investment analysis, including revenue, cost, and profitability analysis.
  • Support due diligence, fundraising activities, and reporting requirements for investors.
  • Provide ad hoc financial analysis and advice to support management’s strategic decisions.
  • Monitor financial activities to prevent fraud, corruption, or non-compliance.
  • Strengthen internal processes to ensure transparency and accountability.

Team & Stakeholder Collaboration

The Finance Manager will work closely with the Group CFO, local GM, and regional teams to align financial goals with business strategy and ensure smooth execution.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5–7 years of progressive finance experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial capacity in Indonesia.
  • Prior experience in energy/renewable Energy, infrastructure, or investment-backed companies is highly desirable.
  • Deep understanding of Indonesian financial regulations, tax laws, and statutory reporting requirements.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in financial modeling, budgeting, ERP/accounting systems, and Microsoft Excel.
  • Languages: Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and English (written and spoken).
