A Snapshot of your day

The Finance Director for Siemens Energy Indonesia provides strategic leadership over all country finance and governance functions, while acting as an integrated leader in one of the local Business Areas. This pivotal role ensures comprehensive oversight of cross-business and local finance matters, external stakeholder management, and stewardship of the Finance community, establishing a strong governance framework for all in-country operations.

How You’ll Make An Impact

• Lead all finance and governance activities for the legal entity, ensuring the accuracy of financial records, regulatory compliance, effective asset and risk management, and robust internal controls.
• Serve as a strategic advisor to the Country Managing Director, shaping and executing country strategy in alignment with the Regional Hub and Business Areas.
• Oversee all country finance matters, including legal and compliance issues, financial governance, risk management, inflation, foreign exchange, liquidity, and other critical financial topics.
• Manage internal and external shareholders’ expectations and ensure corporate governance.
• Represent Siemens Energy to external stakeholders, such as auditors, shareholders, customers, suppliers, and business partners and manage internal and external shareholders’ expectations and ensure corporate governance.
• Coordinate with government authorities, including the Tax Office, Ministries, and city regulatory agencies.
• Advocate for investors by safeguarding assets, driving sustainable value creation, reviewing investments, evaluating the entity’s portfolio, and leading asset optimization initiatives.
• Partner with Regional Hub, Business Areas, and Functions to advance regional productivity, cost optimization, and provide efficient corporate infrastructure across all assigned entities.
• Foster a positive corporate culture, promote employee engagement, and model Siemens Energy Leadership Essentials.
• Identify and develop talent pipelines for critical roles, acting as a mentor to nurture and retain high-potential finance professionals.
• Contribute to cross-business and cross-country finance initiatives.
• Engage in challenging projects and initiatives, supporting professional growth within a dynamic, high-responsibility environment.
• Assume operational and executional responsibilities within a designated Business Area in addition to Finance Director duties.

Qualifications

• Extensive operational experience leading finance functions in complex organizations.
• Background in commercial sales, project management, and corporate functions; international experience in a multinational corporation preferred.
• Expertise in Financial Controlling, Accounting (IFRS), and reporting systems; proficiency in ERP/Finance systems (SAP/Spiridon preferred).
• Demonstrated ability to build and lead high‑performing, diverse teams.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance; ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or equivalent qualification required.
• Minimum 5–8 years’ experience leading finance/commercial/functional teams or as a Country Division/Business Unit Controller.
• Fluency in English required.
