About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance/Business Controller to join our dynamic team at PT GWS Era Medika'. In this full-time position, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the financial operations and strategic decision-making for our organisation, located in Jakarta Raya. As a key member of our Accounting and Financial Management team, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive financial insights and ensuring the company's financial health and performance.

What you'll be doing

• Preparing and analysing detailed financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to support the company's strategic planning and decision‑making processes
• Monitoring and optimising the company's financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions
• Overseeing the accounting and financial control functions, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies
• Providing valuable financial advice and recommendations to senior management, contributing to the overall business strategy
• Collaborating with cross‑functional teams to align financial objectives with operational goals
• Identifying and mitigating financial risks, implementing appropriate controls and measures to safeguard the company's assets
• Leading, mentoring, and developing the finance team to enhance their skills and performance

What we're looking for

• Minimum 8 years of post‑qualification experience in a similar finance/business controller role, preferably within the Accounting and Financial Management industry
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
• Excellent knowledge of financial regulations, compliance and internal control frameworks
• Proficient in the use of financial software and data analysis tools
• Proven track record of providing strategic financial insights and driving business performance improvements
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present complex financial information to both financial and non‑financial audiences
• Proactive problem‑solving mindset and the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
