Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and timely journal entries and ledger accounts.
- Prepare complete financial statements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis in accordance with PSAK/IFRS.
- Perform bank reconciliations, intercompany balance settlements, and control account reviews.
- Prepare consolidated financial reports (if applicable).
- Provide cash flow forecasts and variance analysis.
- Evaluate cost structures across logistics or shipping jobs; identify opportunities for cost optimization and profit margin improvement; support sales and operations in pricing strategy through historical cost benchmarking.
- Monitor AR aging and advise on collection strategies for overdue accounts; oversee billing processes and ensure completeness of supporting documents; manage vendor payment schedules to optimize cash flow and ensure priority alignment.
- Supervise routine tax filings (VAT, withholding, corporate taxes); ensure alignment with tax audit requirements and government regulations; coordinate with tax consultants to ensure compliance and planning efficiency.
- Lead and mentor the finance & accounting team for performance and compliance with SOPs; design and enforce strong internal control mechanisms; provide training on accounting procedures, systems, and regulatory standards.
- Act as a financial advisor to management in evaluating financial health and business risk; contribute to mid-term strategic planning with a focus on cost structure and cash positioning; support finance process digitalization or ERP implementation initiatives.
Requirements
