Grun Uluwatu is seeking an exceptional Executive Chef to join our dynamic team in Bali. As Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all culinary operations, leading a talented kitchen brigade, and ensuring the delivery of an outstanding dining experience for our guests. This is a full-time, on‑site role based in Bali.
Develop and implement creative, high‑quality menus that showcase your culinary expertise and cater to the preferences of our diverse clientele.
Manage and mentor a team of skilled chefs, line cooks, and kitchen staff to foster a positive, collaborative, and efficient work environment.
Oversee inventory management, ordering, and cost control to ensure optimal operational efficiency and profitability.
Maintain the highest standards of food safety, sanitation, and hygiene in the kitchen.
Collaborate with the management team to drive continuous improvement and innovation in the culinary program.
Foster strong relationships with local suppliers and producers to source the freshest, highest‑quality ingredients.
Represent the company at industry events and engage with the local culinary community.
Minimum 4 years of experience as an Executive Chef or in a similar senior culinary leadership role, preferably in a high‑end restaurant, resort, or hotel setting.
Proven track record of developing and executing successful menus that highlight locally‑sourced ingredients and innovative cooking techniques.
Exceptional culinary skills and knowledge of diverse global cuisines, with a particular focus on Southeast Asian flavours.
Strong leadership and team management abilities, with a focus on mentoring and developing culinary talent.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams.
Proficient in inventory management, cost control, and budget planning.
Passion for sustainability and a commitment to reducing food waste.
Fluency in English, with knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia a distinct advantage.
Willing to be located in Uluwatu, Bali.
