Job summary

A leading construction company in Jakarta Utara is seeking a Senior Estimator for MEP works. The role involves developing cost estimates for data center projects, leading estimator teams, and ensuring compliance with international standards. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering and at least 8 years of relevant experience, with strong skills in cost estimation and communication in English.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in data center MEP critical systems estimations.
• Strong understanding of international data center standards.

Job description

Prepare cost estimates for MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) works in data center projects.

Develop RAB and BoQ (Bill of Quantity) based on tender documents.

Calculate material, equipment and manpower requirements for MEP scope.

Conduct technical clarifications and price evaluations with vendors/ subcontractors.

Prepare unit rate analysis in accordance with standards and local regulations.

Collaboration with engineering teams regarding MEP methodology and technical proposals.

Lead and manage estimator teams during tender processes (include Civil works).

Qualifications

Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.

At least 8 years of experience in construction cost estimation, with ≥ 3 years in data center MEP critical systems estimations.

Strong understanding of international data center standards (Uptime Institute Tier Standard, ASHRAE, TIA-942).

Knowledge of electrical systems, HVAC, plumbing and fire protection systems.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel (other estimation software is an advantage).

Strong analytical skills, detail-oriented and accustomed to working under tight deadlines.

Good communication skills in English (verbal & written).

Preferred Qualifications

Professional certification (SKA Madya/Utama in MEP, CDCP or equivalent).

Previous experience working in Main Contractors / General Contractors.
