Position Introductory:
Responsible for managing ERP master data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with governance standards. Analyse data to identify risks, and opportunities for improvements. Drive data standardization and support ERP migrations and upgrades. Analyses functional and technical specifications to validate requirements, assess system impact, and design effective solutions or workaround. Implements, enhances, and supports ERP systems for relevant business functions, including data integration across various platforms.
Job Responsibilities
- Master Data Management (MDM)
- Create, maintain and manage master data in compliance with ERP standards and governance policies
- Analyse data to identify risks, and opportunities for improvements
- Compile and validate the new master data creation against HQ approved coding structures, naming conventions and data governance standards
- Collaborate with functional departments users on data maintenance and standardization of existing ERP master data
- Prepare SOPs, guidelines, and provide training to users that aligned to master data management best practices
- Support data migration, mapping, validation, and testing during ERP Migration/Upgrade
- ERP Support
- Provide first level ERP support to users using ERP functional and technical knowledge
- Analyse business processes and requirements from Key Users and effectively resolve user tickets
- Analyse user specifications to validate requirements, assess system impact, and support effective solution design or workaround
- Create functional/technical and reports specification
- Conduct Business Requirement Analysis and Gap Fit Analysis
- Manage ERP setup and configurations
- Perform ERP system implementation and enhancement
- Collaborate with HQ ERP team and vendors on ERP related matters
- Provide users trainings and testing
- Manage any ERP related projects / ad-hoc matters tasked by supervisor
Requirements
- Minimum Diploma in Management Information Systems, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or other related Engineering or Finance degrees or relevant
- Minimum 2-3 years working experience in any similar position or any ERP (Dynamics Navision preferably) in Finance, Supply Chain Management (SCM) Manufacturing industry or experience in Master Data Management (MDM)
- Experience in user requirement gathering, solutioning, Master Data Management (MDM)
- Good communication and possess analytical skills
- Ability to manage projects to ensure deliverables within the scope and time given
- Possess good exposure in ERP system, ERP Customization and ERP implementation
- Provide training to internal business units
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify improvement opportunities in the data
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Self-motivated, able to work independently as well as a team player
- Have hands on experience in ERP system
- Occasional overseas travel is required
- Knowledge of Jet Report is an added advantage
