What You Will Achieve
  • Serve as a key member of the SLT, co‑developing and executing the Site Strategy in line with the PGS Value Proposition: Quality/Compliance/Safety, Supply Reliability, and Cost/Cash/Value.
  • Oversee capital expenditure (Capex) utilization and ensure continuous improvement activities are strategically aligned.
  • Act as a GMP compliance role model, ensuring Engineering & EHS policies and procedures meet regulatory and internal standards.
  • Foster a proactive EHS culture, promoting safety, environmental stewardship, and incident prevention in daily operations.
  • Ensure optimal performance and reliability of all operational equipment, minimizing downtime and maintaining compliance with global PQS standards.
  • Drive team engagement, effective communication, and the development of managerial staff (Managers & Supervisors) within Engineering & EHS.
  • Lead and inspire teams, fostering an inclusive culture and encouraging growth through communities of practice.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans for people, technology, and financial resources, ensuring alignment and efficiency across business segments.
  • Champion continuous improvement and innovation, encouraging risk‑taking within acceptable levels to drive excellence and creativity.
  • Address complex operational challenges with strategic insights, influencing decisions and holding accountability for outcomes.
  • Build leadership strength through talent identification and succession planning, ensuring a diverse and robust pipeline for sustained growth.
  • Act as a strategic advisor on key initiatives impacting operational excellence, negotiating with stakeholders and senior leadership.
Here Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with at least 10 years of experience in Engineering and EHS within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of GMP and EH&S compliance, including incident management and environmental controls.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across the organization. Ability to influence and negotiate at senior leadership levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire teams towards achieving strategic goals.
  • Skills in developing direct reports, fostering growth and development within the team.
  • Experience in financial performance management, including budgeting and cost control.
  • Expertise in developing and implementing strategic business plans.
  • Exceptional problem‑solving skills and ability to address complex challenges.
  • Ability to drive operational excellence and functional improvements across the organization.

  • A Master’s degree with relevant pharmaceutical experience
  • Experience in fostering an inclusive and collaborative work environment.
