Job summary

A leading mining and oil services company in Papua Tengah is seeking a Civil Engineer with a Bachelor's degree and 3 years of relevant experience. The ideal candidate will be proficient in AutoCAD and 3D Smart Plan software, preferably with experience in Oil & Gas and Power Plant projects. Responsibilities include supporting installation work packages and preparing detailed drawings. The role requires good analytical, leadership, and communication skills along with fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Create redline markup drawings for As-Built preparation.

Job description

Overview

Bachelor's Degree of Engineering (Civil Engineering). 3 years of experience in related field. Proficient in AutoCAD and 3D Smart Plan software. Preferably with experience in Oil & Gas and Power Plant projects. Knowledge of technical requirements associated with project drawing development or design engineering. Possess broad knowledge in mechanical systems. Good analytical and supervisory skills. Good leadership and communication/presentation skills. Willing to work flexible hours to accommodate job requirements. Fluent in English; spoken and written is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Support IWP (Installation Work Package) by extracting data from 3D Smart Plan and distributing it to the IWP development team.
• Assist engineers in reviewing drawings from clients.
• Prepare detailed/shop drawings for the Construction team and other related teams.
• Review vendor drawings (e.g., Formwork).
• Assist engineers in preparing installation sequences of rebar for concrete works.
• Create redline markup drawings for As-Built preparation & develop final as-Built drawings.
• Promote and maintain a safe work environment in the work area, ensuring store business processes and activities are conducted following safe work practices. Develop and follow JSA's for all tasks.
• Assist Designer MEP Supervisor to develop a work schedule including parts, materials, and manpower for MOS short term detailed execution plans.
• Assist Designer MEP Supervisor to supervise activities to ensure work is technically correct and performed in a safe and cost-effective manner.
• Assist Designer MEP Supervisor to monitor schedule implementation to ensure all scheduled work is completed in accordance with work instructions and schedules.
• Maintain and actively implement SHE programs and responsibilities (identify, mitigate and monitor SHE risk), including SHE Management System to ensure program effectiveness and compliance with official standards, requirements and procedures.
