Key Responsibilities

• Extract and transform data from multiple databases into Google BigQuery
• Monitor and optimize BigQuery usage to control costs and avoid peak spending
• Perform data validation and quality checks to ensure data accuracy and consistency
• Manage backup processes for large-scale (big data) datasets
• Create and maintain dataset documentation and data dictionaries
• Monitor scheduled notebooks and ETL pipelines, including troubleshooting errors
• Develop and improve ETL methods to be more effective and efficient
