Job Description
Commercial Strategy & Leadership
- Develop and execute the overall commercial strategy aligned with company growth targets.
- Translate business objectives into sales, pricing, and market expansion plans.
- Provide strong leadership to sales, marketing, and commercial teams.
Sales & Revenue Growth
- Own and deliver annual revenue, margin, and volume targets.
- Drive growth across key flooring segments (e.g. residential, commercial, hospitality, healthcare, industrial).
- Expand market share through new channels, regions, and customer segments.
- Lead major bids, tenders, and negotiations for large-scale flooring projects.
Key Account & Channel Management
- Manage and strengthen relationships with key developers, contractors, architects, designers, distributors, and retailers.
- Oversee strategic partnerships and long-term customer agreements.
- Ensure effective channel strategy across project sales, retail, dealer, and OEM (as applicable).
Pricing, Margin & Contract Management
- Define pricing strategy to balance competitiveness and profitability.
- Oversee contract terms, discounts, rebates, and commercial risk management.
- Monitor margins by product, customer, and channel; implement corrective actions when needed.
Market & Product Strategy
- Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs in the flooring industry.
- Collaborate with product and operations teams on product mix, launches, and lifecycle management.
- Support positioning of flooring solutions (e.g. vinyl, SPC, laminate, carpet tiles, engineered wood, ceramic).
Marketing & Brand Development
- Oversee marketing strategy including branding, promotions, specifications, and go-to-market plans.
- Ensure strong engagement with architects, consultants, and influencers.
- Support development of technical and commercial sales tools.
Team Leadership & Performance
- Build, coach, and lead a high-performing commercial organization.
- Set clear KPIs, incentive schemes, and performance management processes.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and customer focus.

Forecasting & Reporting
- Own sales forecasting, budgeting, and commercial reporting.
- Present performance updates, risks, and opportunities to senior leadership.
- Ensure data-driven decision-making across the commercial function.
The Successful Applicant
- 10-15+ years of commercial or sales leadership experience, preferably in flooring, building materials, construction products, or interior finishes.
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth and margin improvement.
- Experience managing large project sales and key accounts is strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of B2B and/or B2C channels in the flooring or construction market.

Education
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field
