Job summary

A global information services company is seeking a Business Development Manager to be based in Jakarta. In this role, you will be responsible for achieving revenue targets, ensuring smooth account transitions to the management team, and conducting pipeline reviews with the Regional Sales Director. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of experience in sales or account management within financial or information services, and possesses strong interpersonal and presentation skills. Knowledge of APIs is a plus.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years in direct sales or account management experience in financial or information services industries.
  • Knowledge of API and corporate internal network is an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver sufficient revenue to achieve targets.

Business Development Manager (Information Services)

We are recruiting on behalf of one of our clients, an Information Services Global company that is looking to hire a Business Development Manager position, located in Jakarta.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver revenue sufficient to achieve set monthly, quarterly, or annual revenue targets.
  • Ensure the effective handover or introduction of accounts to the Account Management team post-sale, as well as gather client feedback, maintain accurate customer contact and opportunity data in CRM and develop innovative approaches to solving problems facing our existing and prospective clients.
  • Conduct detailed, weekly pipeline reviews with the Regional Sales Director (RSD) in your region to ensure the number and quality of opportunities in the pipeline is sufficient to meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Complete monthly sales forecasts at an accuracy level specified by the RSD.
  • Report directly to Regional Sales Director (RSD).
Requirements
  • Degree in Finance, Economics or related business disciplines.
  • At least 5 years in direct sales or account management experience in financial or information services industries.
  • Has knowledge of API and corporate internal network would be added advantage.
