About the role

We are seeking an experienced Budget Department Head to join our dynamic team at PT Datang Dssp Power Indonesia. In this full‑time role based in Central Jakarta, you will be responsible for leading and managing the company's budgeting processes, ensuring financial plans are aligned with our strategic objectives.

What you’ll be doing

• Develop and oversee the implementation of the company's annual budget and forecasting processes
• Collaborate with department heads to define budgets and financial targets that support the overall business strategy
• Analyse financial data, identify trends and provide recommendations to the management team
• Monitor budget performance and variances, implementing corrective actions as needed
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and internal financial policies
• Lead and mentor the budget team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
• Contribute to the preparation of financial reports and presentations for senior stakeholders

What we’re looking for

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline
• Minimum 8 years’ experience in a management accounting or budgeting role, preferably within the energy or utilities sector or in an accounting firm.
• Strong understanding of budgeting principles, forecasting techniques and financial analysis
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Proficient in the use of financial software and data analysis tools
• Ability to work collaboratively, lead a team and drive continuous improvement
• Fluent in English and Indonesian (Mandarin will be a plus)
