Job summary

A leading technology provider based in Balikpapan is seeking a Software Support Engineer to join the APAC Technical Service & Support team. This role involves providing remote technical assistance and ensuring effective operation of mining technologies at customer sites. The ideal candidate will have a background in software engineering, strong knowledge of programming, and experience in networking and database administration, as well as fluency in Bahasa and English. This position requires being part of an on-call support roster for clients.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years’ experience with scripting languages.
• Experience in networking, switches, and routing.
• Experience in operational technology within mining.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote technical assistance to clients.
• Support and maintain software at mining sites.
• Documentation and compliance with health and safety policies.

Skills

C++ programming
