Assistant Sales & Leasing Manager – Lalamove Commercial Vehicles

Experience: Minimum 1 year in operations management, business start-up, or project management; sales or sales-management experience is a plus.

Job Description: Lead the development, implementation, support, and management of Lalamove’s vehicle-rental and rental-related business strategies and execution plans. In the early stages, engage effectively with prospective customers to uncover true needs and craft tailored product solutions. Work cross-functionally to identify efficiency gains, design and manage processes, and ensure operations align with company objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct market research for vehicle-rental services: map potential customers, analyze competitor offerings, pricing, and products, and design solutions based on findings.
  • Act as customer-service rep, salesperson, and product manager during the initial business-model build-out.
  • Establish and continuously optimize processes, proposing data- and technology-driven improvements.
  • Coordinate projects with Operations, Tech, Marketing, and Customer Service teams.
  • Monitor transformation-project performance via KPIs and report regularly to senior management.
  • Benchmark best practices in vehicle-rental and logistics industries.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Management, Industrial Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • Prior experience in logistics, transportation, or vehicle-rental industries is preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data and presentation tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau, or equivalents).
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Fluency in Indonesian and English (spoken and written); Chinese is a plus.
