Job summary

A national manufacturing solutions provider is looking for an Assistant Project Manager (Factory Digital Transformation) to manage AI projects within factories in Southeast Asia. The ideal candidate will coordinate with manufacturing teams, implement productivity tools and possess a strong background in project management, especially in digital transformation initiatives. Proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is required, along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. This role is critical for optimizing manufacturing processes and efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in completion of DX projects, particularly as a PMO in AI and supply chain systems.
  • At least 3 years of experience and strong understanding of manufacturing processes in SEA.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and support projects of AI in factories located in Thailand and Indonesia.
  • Work closely with manufacturing teams to identify and propose suitable DX solutions.
  • Develop and implement RPA solutions to optimize repetitive tasks.

Job Responsibilities

Project Management:

  • Manage and support projects of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in factories located in Thailand and Indonesia.
  • Oversee supply chain optimization system projects to improve efficiency and productivity in Singapore and Asian countries.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Work closely with manufacturing teams to identify and propose suitable DX solutions.
  • Communicate with manufacturing staff to define and scope DX projects.
  • Share project requirements and users hidden needs with the AI/software engineers.

Training and Knowledge Sharing:

  • Manage the in-house data analyst training curriculum.
  • Coordinate with HR teams to organize and deliver seminars on DX topics.
  • Monitor and report on training progress, proposing future training plans as needed.
  • Identify and share best practices across SEA sites to ensure consistent implementation of DX initiatives.

Introducing Productivity Tools (Microsoft Power Automate) or Robotic Process Automation (RPA):

  • Develop and implement Microsoft Power Automate or RPA solutions to optimize repetitive tasks in sales, finance, and other departments.
  • Act as an DX evangelist, training and improving the skills of employees in SEA sites.

Job Requirements

  • Diploma/Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
  • Proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia to liaise smoothly with overseas factories in Indonesia
  • Proven experience in the completion of DX projects (implementation and execution), particularly as a PMO in AI and supply chain systems
  • At least 3 years of experience and a strong understanding of manufacturing processes and business needs in SEA
  • Possess excellent project management and communication skills to work with cross-functional teams
  • Proactive, self-motivated with a strong drive for continuous improvement
  • Experience in Project management
  • Experience in RPA development and implementation using Power Platform (Power Automate and Power Apps)
