A leading valve and instrumentation supplier in Indonesia is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer to manage product selection and supplier negotiations. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Instrumentation, Physics, Mechanical or Industry Engineering, experience in technical sales, and strong communication skills. Proficiency in SAP and Salesforce is essential. Select and analyze products based on customer requirements, prioritizing available stock and managing technical and commercial data.
Negotiate with Principals/Suppliers to obtain the best technical and commercial offers.
Prepare and verify complete technical and commercial quotations, ensuring alignment between SO, AE quotations, and customer POs.
Coordinate with AE Support to create project codes, material numbers, and SAP documents (SO, PO, PDO/Production Orders).
Manage Purchase Order drafts to Principals/Suppliers and coordinate assembly or additional production processes with warehouse and service providers.
Monitor, evaluate, and select suppliers while supporting Accounting in stock opname and material identification when required.
Ensure all AE activities, quotations, and orders are accurately recorded in SAP and Salesforce, including monthly opportunity updates.
Support Sales through customer visits, product training, SO approvals, and compliance with QHSE and HSE regulations.
