Job description

We are looking for a Senior AI Engineer with solid experience in supply chain AI solutions and a strong understanding of software development/deployment. This role is crucial to building scalable AI solutions to solve core supply chain problems. You’ll not only be a key contributor within a high-impact engineering team but also help shape the team’s engineering culture through technical guidance and support to others.

Job Summary

Design and develop modular, portable, and production-ready code that can be deployed across cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) or on-premise.

Re-architect and develop our existing system to support conversion of complex business and retail-specific requirements into scalable and reusable software components.

Design and build AI-driven systems components that seamlessly integrate research models into robust, scalable business solutions.

Follow and improve feature development cycles, software architecture patterns, coding standards, and DevOps/MLOps best practices across the engineering team.

Review code, support the development of a culture of engineering excellence, and ensure deliverables meet security, performance, and maintainability standards.

Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Operations Research, or a related field.

4+ years in AI/ML engineering or software engineering, focused on building and deploying production systems.

Experience deploying infrastructure as code on at least one major cloud service.

Experience deploying software in cloud and on-prem environments (using Docker, K8s, CI/CD pipelines)

Experience architecting microservices, API and system design.

Proficient in Python and core technical stacks, including:
- Databases: SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (e.g: MongoDB)
- Testing frameworks: PyTest or equivalent for unit/integration testing tools

Previous experience with deployment of AI models to production, working with orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow, Prefect, Ray, etc.) and reporting tools (e.g. Tableau, Holistics) is a plus.

Previous experience with inventory optimization, demand forecasting, or supply chain AI solutions is a plus.
