The APC (Advanced Process Control) Engineer is a specialist who masters Metso APC technology. His/her main activity is the implementation of APC systems and advanced sensor systems in his/her dedicated geographical area. The APC Engineer is part of the global team of Expert Services and may be working on projects outside of his/her market area. He/she has project management responsibilities on some of the projects in which he/she is involved.
The job requires a very good understanding of both the clients’ process and of advanced process control and vision technology. It is primarily a technical position that requires travelling, domestic and internationally. It also includes management responsibilities. The APC engineer spends a significant part of his/her time with customers during the implementation of the contracts and must be able to establish a good and mastered communication with customers.
