About the role

XYZ TRAVEL is seeking a talented Accounting professional to join our dynamic North Jakarta Jakarta team. In this full-time position, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial integrity and reporting of our growing organisation. As part of our dedicated Finance department, you will contribute to the strategic financial success of our business.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyse financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
• Manage accounts receivable and payable, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and bank statements to ensure the accuracy of financial records
• Assist with the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and other financial analyses to support decision-making
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and recommendations
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, laws, and regulations
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial processes and controls

Requirements

• Tertiary qualification in Accounting or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar accounting role, preferably in the travel or hospitality industry
• Proficient in the use of accounting software and tools, such as ERP systems and spreadsheet applications
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and draw meaningful insights
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in financial reporting
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise with various stakeholders
• Knowledge of relevant accounting standards, regulations, and best practices
