Job Description
Responsible for the day-to-day management of assigned account(s). Manages/coordinates Client projects from planning to completion. May serve as the daily contact between the Ageny and the Client. Effectively executes strategies, problem-solves, and develops solid business relationships. Provides Client service support.
- Serve as the main point of contact for assigned client accounts; build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with clients.
- Understand clients’ business goals, marketing objectives, brand positioning, and competitive landscape.
- Work with internal teams (media planners/buyers, digital specialists, creative teams) to translate client goals into actionable media plans and campaign briefs.
- Oversee the lifecycle of campaigns: from brief → planning → execution → monitoring → optimization → reporting.
- Manage budgets, track spend, monitor delivery timelines and campaign milestones.
- Monitor campaign performance against KPIs (reach, engagement, ROI, etc.); prepare and deliver client reports and insights.
- Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell additional services within existing accounts.
- Proactively identify issues or risks (budget overruns, timeline slippage, scope changes) and **escalate** or manage them appropriately.
- Collaborate with business development/pitch teams as needed to support new client proposals or expansions.
- Stay up-to-date with media trends, emerging channels, and competitor activity; bring new ideas to the table.
- Internally, coordinate tasks, ensure clear communication across departments and maintain high service quality for clients.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Typically 3-5+ years of experience in client servicing/account management within a media or advertising agency environment (years may vary depending on seniority).
- Strong client-facing and interpersonal skills, with excellent verbal and written communication.
- Experience with campaign planning, media channels (digital, social, traditional) and understanding of metrics/performance analytics.
- Excellent organisational skills, ability to manage multiple projects/accounts simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Problem-solver mindset; able to anticipate client and internal team needs, adapt to change, and pivot when required.
- Budget/financial acumen with ability to track and manage spend.
- Presentation skills: ability to present work to clients, deliver insights and influence decision-making.
- Team player who collaborates effectively across departments.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have
- Experience in digital media (e.g., social ads, search, programmatic, OTT) and understanding of media buying/delivery.
- Experience working on large/strategic client accounts.
- Demonstrated upselling or business development within existing accounts.
- Familiarity with media/advertising tools/platforms, dashboards, or analytics.
- Experience managing internal junior staff or mentoring others.
- Agency pitch experience (helping create proposals for new business wins).
