Responsibilities
- Checking and signing 'first off' parts.
- Inspecting engineering patterns for accuracy.
- Trimming mouldings from the manufacturing process.
- Patching or repairing mouldings.
- Delivering completed work to the assembly department.
- Checking that operations have been accurately booked.
- Completing job cards and recording data.
A great opportunity has arisen for a hands-on permanent Quality Control Inspector with excellent attention to detail to work within a long established manufacturing company in Medway Towns on a permanent basis. You will be from a manufacturing background and ideally have some previous QC experience.
- Checking and signing "first off" parts for operators so that production can commence.
- Inspecting engineering patterns to verify accuracy to drawing and techniques.
- Trimming the mouldings from the manufacturing process.
- Patching or repairing mouldings that the team leader deems economical to repair.
- Delivering trays of completed work to the assembly department to work on.
- Checking that previous operations have been accurately booked on the job cards and the system has been updated.
- Completing job cards and recording the data on to the system.
The rate of pay is £12.36 per hour, 48 hours per week.
