Drainage Engineer (Remedials team or Reactive team)

GBP35,000 (negotiable upon experience) + Overtime, OTE of GBP10,000

Attega Group is currently partnering exclusively with our client to recruit a Drainage Engineer to join the team.

The main purpose of this role is to work as a Reactive Drainage/plumbing operative responsible for supporting reactive and some planned works.

In return, our client offers a salary of up to GBP35,000 P/A, depending on experience.

This is a full-time, permanent role. The working hours are from 7am to 5pm, with requirements for daily overtime, night work, and stay-aways when requested.

Reporting to the Hiring Manager, your responsibilities will include:

1. Leak tracing and investigation on above ground water services
2. Repairing leaks on water services in service voids and risers
3. Demonstrating technical knowledge and competency in internal and external investigation works, above ground and below ground descales using HPWJ and mechanical coring/milling equipment
4. Operating electrical mechanical coring equipment and Picote milling machines for internal drainage clearance works
5. Operating HPWJ equipment
6. Removing and replacing small bore waste pipes on sinks, basins, urinals, etc.
7. Replacing mixer taps, wash down taps, and spray guns
8. Replacing toilet float lines and stack pipework
9. Removing and installing cast iron soil pipework
10. Supporting drainage operatives with internal drain descales
11. Using CCTV equipment to support leak investigation
12. Taking water samples to confirm the source of leaks

The ideal candidate:

1. Has 3+ years of experience within Drainage
2. Has plumbing experience
3. Is an excellent communicator
4. Possesses a driving license
