This Graduate Engineering Geologist position will require the carrying out and supervision of site investigations. You’ll be completing contaminated land risk assessments and Phase 1 Desktop Studies, borehole logging, soil sampling, gas and ground water monitoring, writing and reviewing factual and interpretive reports and recommending and implementing foundation and remediation designs.

As a result, to be considered for the Graduate Engineering Geologist role you must:

  • Have a degree in geology, environmental science, geoscience, physical geography, environmental engineering or geotechnical engineering (or a similar relevant subject).
  • Hold a clean and valid UK Driving licence.
  • Live commutable to Derby.
  • Show enthusiasm to learn and work amongst a team in a hands on, often outdoor, setting.
  • Have a full right to work in the UK.
