Job summary

A leading real estate firm is seeking a pricing, project, and compliance manager for their Water division in Greater Manchester. The role involves managing projects from initiation to completion, requiring candidates with a strong facilities management background, financial acumen, and the ability to liaise with stakeholders effectively. Responsibilities include project pricing, reporting, and operational support. This is an on-site position, and aspiring candidates are encouraged to apply irrespective of meeting every requirement.

Qualifications

  • Must be fully qualified in an FM related trade such as Mechanical, Electrical, or Carpentry.
  • Strong understanding of FM related compliance and procedures required.
  • Experience in facilities management is essential.

We are looking for a pricing, project and compliance manager for our rapidly growing Water division, to take new projects from cradle to grave. This person will have a strong facilities management background and sound knowledge of pricing/tendering, project planning, strong financial awareness, and be able to liaise effectively with stakeholders on both sides of projects. Duties & Responsibilities
  • Taking and understanding information about new projects
  • Pricing/estimating and tendering for new work
  • Working closely with the APs and operations manager to ensure scheduling requirements are met according to the risk factor of work and operational assurance
  • Provide reports and analysis on performance trends and ensure continuous improvement across the division
  • Use strong financial awareness to prioritise both new and existing work, working closely with the finance business partner and ultimately budget control
  • Manage programs of work and handle several projects simultaneously while working closely with the operations manager
  • Work closely with the technical manager
  • Provide operational support when required
Skills & Experience
  • Fully qualified in an FM related trade (Mechanical, Electrical, Carpentry)
  • Good all‑round IT skills
  • Experience in a similar position within facilities management
  • Strong financial acumen
  • Strong understanding of FM related compliance and procedures
  • Good knowledge of risk management
