This is a fieldbased role covering Kent, Essex, Anglia & South Midlands

As a People Partner, you will play a key role in enabling our line managers to take ownership of the people agenda. Working across multiple regions, you’ll help shape a culture where leadership accountability is strengthened, and people practices are embedded through the line.

This role is about creating meaningful impact — connecting people interventions to commercial performance, influencing leadership behaviours, and taking initiative to drive long-term, strategic change. You’ll also act as a change leader, supporting the design and delivery of high-level change initiatives that align with our business priorities and cultural ambitions.

• Become a true partner to leaders across up to 3 regions, acting as a coach and advisor.
• Influence leadership teams to shift from tactical reliance on People support to proactive ownership of the people agenda.

• Lead and contribute to strategic people initiatives that go beyond day-to-day operations.
• Identify opportunities to enhance leadership capability, workforce planning, and talent development.
• Actively support and shape change leadership capability across the business, ensuring leaders are equipped to lead transformation with confidence.
• Collaborate with other People Partners to ensure consistency, share best practices, and support our growth ambitions through : Truly different stores and channels Sold & served with personality Asda ranged, always available

• Experience in a People Partnering or HR Business Partner role, ideally across multiple regions or teams.
• Proven ability to lead and support complex change initiatives.
• Strong influencing and coaching skills, with the ability to challenge constructively.
• Commercial awareness and ability to link people strategy to business goals.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
• Experience in leading or contributing to strategic people initiatives.

To ensure we balance moments where we know we need to collaborate together and the need for flexibility, Asda has a hybrid way of working with a minimum 3 days a week in one of our Home Offices. Over and above this, each area of Asda may have additional requirements which may require spending more days in the office, visiting suppliers, stores or depots.
