Job summary
A recruitment agency is seeking Care Assistants for ongoing work in the Kirkby-in-Ashfield area. The role offers flexible hours with shifts ranging from day to night, allowing you to choose your preferred working days. Responsibilities include assisting elderly residents with daily routines and ensuring their physical and psychological wellbeing. A valid enhanced DBS and training in Infection Control and Safeguarding are required, but training can be provided. Pay rate is £12.35 per hour.
Qualifications
- An enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months.
- Referenceable work history.
- Up to date Infection Control, Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults, and Moving and Handling training.
- At least 3 months experience in a similar setting.
Responsibilities
- Assist elderly residents with day-to-day routines.
- Aid mobility, hygiene, and nutritional requirements.
- Support residents with age-related illnesses, such as dementia.
