A leading healthcare trust in London is seeking a Band 5 Paediatric Emergency Department Nurse to provide high standards of patient care in a challenging environment. Candidates will have the opportunity to develop in their role, participate in essential training courses, and work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Applicants should be prepared for potential weekend shifts and will be subject to a six-month probation period.
We are recruiting Band 5 Paediatric nurses to work within our Paediatric Emergency Department at West Middlesex Hospital Site. This role is based on the West Middlesex Hospital Site and is part of a dedicated Paediatric Emergency Department that provides a busy, challenging and rewarding environment.
You will be given a structured orientation and supported to develop as a Paediatric A&E nurse. We encourage participation in specific courses such as PILS, Trauma, Mentorship, APLS, A&E course, Stabilisation of the unwell child course, in‑house training days (venepuncture and cannulation) and regular simulation teaching from dedicated education doctors.
