Job Description: We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Tutor to join our team, focusing on Looked After Children students. You will play a vital role in supporting their academic progress and personal development, helping them to overcome barriers to learning and achieve success.
- Provide one‑on‑one and group tutoring sessions in a variety of subjects.
- Tailor lessons to meet individual student needs and learning styles.
- Support students in developing study skills, self‑confidence, and academic resilience.
- Collaborate with carers, social workers, and school staff to create a supportive learning environment.
- Monitor and report on student progress.
- Attend training sessions and professional development as required.
- Experience working with Looked After Children or vulnerable student groups.
- Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
