An educational support agency is seeking a SEN / SEND Tutor in Thurrock to work with a young non-verbal student. The ideal candidate will have experience with Makaton or PECS, and a passion for supporting disengaged learners. This role requires planning engaging sessions and providing holistic support to enhance the educational outcomes of the student. Immediate applications are encouraged.
Competenze
- Tutor with experience in 1:1 tutoring, particularly with non-verbal students.
- Ability to create engaging and holistic lesson plans.
- Capable of providing feedback on student progress.

- Plan each session of teaching and tutoring.

We are looking for SEN / SEND tutors with a genuine passion for transforming the lives of disengaged, at-risk, and vulnerable learners in Thurrock.
This role is perfect for qualified SEN / SEND teachers who are eager to work via 1:1 tutoring with children and young people with a variety of learning needs, in a creative, flexible holistic, and trauma-informed manner, to raise their engagement and drastically improve the outlook of their educational journey.
We are looking for a SEN Tutor to work with a young student in reception based in Thurrock; the student is non-verbal so a tutor with Makaton or PECS experience would be beneficial.
- Planning each session of teaching / tutoring / mentoring
- Providing the young person with holistic and engaging sessions which meet their needs and advance their educational and social-emotional journey
- Completing lesson reports and providing feedback on the young person's progress
