Job summary
A well-known education agency is seeking a dedicated Functional Skills Tutor to support secondary and post-16 learners in the Tameside area part-time. The role involves delivering engaging lessons in English and Maths for learners from Entry Level 3 to Level 2, particularly those with additional needs. Ideal for an experienced educator, this position offers flexible hours typically ranging from 5 to 10 hours per week at a rate of GBP25 per hour. The agency provides professional development and supportive resources.

Qualifications
- Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent experience is essential.
- Experience in delivering Functional Skills English and/or Maths for Entry Level 3 to Level 2 is required.
- Experience with post-16 learners and knowledge of SEN/SEMH is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging lessons in English and/or Maths to secondary and post-16 learners.
