The school is looking for a SEND 1:1 Tutor on a part-time basis. You will work with pupils on a 1:1 basis in their homes (with a parent/carer always present) or in community spaces such as libraries or childrens centres. Every learner is unique, so youll need to tailor your sessions and build strong, trusting relationships to foster a positive and engaging learning environment. The successful SEND 1:1 Tutor will be working directly with students across all Key Stages, whose ages range from 5 to 19 years. Most of the young people are diagnosed with either Autism / ASD, Learning Difficulties / LD or attention deficit disorder / ADD.

• Deliver 1:1 tuition and tailor sessions to individual learners
• Work with children and young people with additional needs, specifically Autism / ASD, Learning Difficulties / LD or ADD
• Support children through therapeutic practices
• Engage with pupils across all Key Stages (ages 5–19) in home or community settings with a parent/carer present

• Experience delivering 1:1 tuition
• Experience working with children and young people with additional needs, specifically Autism / ASD, Learning Difficulties / LD or ADD
• Experience supporting children through therapeutic practices
