Overview

Primary Tutor. Our Primary Tutors play a vital role in supporting pupils who require additional help with core subjects. We recognise that every learners journey is different, which is why we offer flexible working hours alongside the opportunity to make a meaningful and lasting difference to young learners.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging one-to-one or small group tuition in Maths and English, tailored to primary-age students.
  • Adjust lesson content, teaching strategies, and pace to meet a range of learning styles and abilities.
  • Support pupils in developing subject knowledge, study skills, and self-confidence.
  • Build positive, consistent relationships to create a safe and supportive learning environment.
  • Track student progress and provide clear, constructive feedback to parents/carers and relevant professionals where required.
Essential Requirements
  • Experience working with learners on a one-to-one or small group basis.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • An Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
Desirable Qualifications
  • PGCE in Primary Education and/or Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience supporting pupils with additional learning needs.
