Job summary

A leading financial institution in London is seeking an Analyst for the First Line Risk & Control Team. This role involves conducting Trade Finance QA reviews, ensuring compliance with financial crime regulations, and maintaining high-quality control standards. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of relevant experience and strong analytical as well as communication skills. The position supports a collaborative environment focused on continuous improvement and compliance.

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of experience within financial crimes area of a global bank, consulting firm or regulatory agency.
  • Experience in Quality Control/Assurance, Compliance Testing/monitoring and/or Audit Function.
  • Minimum of 1 year’s experience in a Quality Control/Assurance function.

Responsibilities

  • Perform Trade Finance QA reviews to meet compliance standards.
  • Communicate review results to appropriate parties.
  • Maintain QA procedures in accordance with standards.
  • Support Trade Finance QA program implementation.
  • Escalate errors identified during reviews as necessary.
  • Support compliance activities and special projects.
