Job summary
A leading IT recruitment firm in the UK seeks a Security Cleared Test Lead to develop and execute test plans for projects. The role requires expertise in ITIL and ISTQB along with strong communication skills to liaise between technical and non-technical teams. The candidate must have current security clearance or be able to obtain SC before starting. Experience in hands-on testing and managing test teams is essential, particularly within the defence sector. This position is primarily office-based in Stafford.
Qualifications
- Must have current security clearance or the ability to gain SC before starting.
- Experience in creating test plans and running test teams.
- Hands-on experience with functional, performance, and end-to-end testing.

- Communicate effectively with stakeholders across the business.
- Bridge technical and non-technical teams.
Skills
ITIL, ISTQB, Test Lead with current security clearance or must be able to gain SC before commencing employment.
Looking for an agile/flexible test lead, someone who can work on their own initiative across different systems. Creating plans, run test team, specify tools, and look at documentation. This would require an experienced tester who has experience of gathering requirements for test cases, doing hands on testing and as the business grow and develops services grow with them.
You will write and execute test plans with excellent communication skills working with all levels of the business. Bridging the gap between technical and non-technical, stakeholders, engineers, service teams. Experience tester who is ISTQB and ITIL focused.
Developing test plans, strategies, test cases based on project reqs & specs.
Functional, performance, UAT to validate the quality of services. End to end test, operational test, component, and systems testing. Previous experience of working for an MSP or within the defence sector would be highly advantageous.
Primarily office based in Stoke on Trent.
You must have security clearance or will need to obtain SC before starting and then onto DV clearance.
