- Prepare and review consolidated financial statements in compliance with relevant standards (CIPFA)
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting for internal and external stakeholders.
- Support the audit process by liaising with auditors and providing required documentation.
- Analyse financial data to provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Maintain and update accounting policies and procedures in line with regulations.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial data integration.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts as required.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and statutory reporting requirements.
A successful Group Reporting Accountant should have:
- Professional accounting qualifications such as CIPFA ACA, ACCA, or equivalent.
- Strong technical knowledge of financial reporting standards.
- Experience in group consolidations and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Proven ability to work within deadlines and manage competing priorities.
- Daily rate of £420 to £475.
- Temporary contract in a professional and supportive work environment.
