Job summary
A recruitment agency in Leeds is seeking a Bid Writer with a strong construction background. The ideal candidate should have at least five years of relevant experience in bid writing and business development. Your role will involve managing the bid process and developing relationships within the civils industry to successfully win projects across the UK. I am looking for a Bid writer with a good construction background, to work within a contractor for infrastructure works on projects across the UK
You will have previous experience working in a similar role within the construction environment. This role would suit an existing business development /bid led technical expert.
- Develop relationships between clients and other organisations within the civils industry.
- Network effectively across the business in multiple areas of industry.
- Work toward bid, tender and invite dates.
- Manage the bid process from start to finish
- Work with the engineering and senior team to attempt to win works across the UK
- Have worked in a sales led business development. bid writer role previously.
- Have five years relevant experience.
- Will need to have current or past engineering understanding
- Although not essential it would also be advantageous if you have a degree in a relevant discipline such as Civil Engineering.
