Job summary

A regional contractor based in North London is seeking an experienced Bid Writer to join their team. This role involves producing submissions for tenders and PQQs within the civil engineering sector. The ideal candidate will have a relevant degree and previous experience in a similar role, alongside strong skills in MS Office. The salary ranges from £35,000 to £50,000, plus a package dependent on experience.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified, preferably in English Language/Literature.
• Previous experience as a Bid Writer for a main contractor.
• Excellent understanding of MS Word & Office.
• Creative in producing submissions for clients.

Responsibilities

• Producing written responses for PQQs and Tenders.
• Supporting the Head of Submissions and Bid Managers.
• Ensuring compliance with the Work Winning processes.
• Editing and proofreading submission documents.
• Facilitating storyboarding sessions with experts.
• Preparing graphics such as flow charts and diagrams.
