Job summary
A leading aerospace recruitment firm based in Yeovil is seeking a Reprographic Technical Assistant to manage document preparation and verification processes. The ideal candidate should possess experience in technical and administrative roles, with a keen attention to detail and capability to understand technical documentation. The position requires full-time office work with a possible evaluation for occasional remote work. This is a 6-month contract.

Responsibilities
- Clean documents and drawings using software.
- Check/verify documents selected for destruction.
- Perform final check of scanned documents.
- Record all drawings issued on relevant spreadsheets.

Morson Talent are currently seeking a Reprographic Technical Assistant to work on behalf of our aerospace client based in Yeovil.
- Cleaning of documents and drawings using software.
- Checking/Verifying documents selected for destruction.
- Perform final check of scanned documents.
- Verify data for new Drawings and Documents.
- Returning queries/errors to the relevant area for correction.
- Issue Drawings and documents using VPM (Virtual Product Model), WEX (Enovia) and SAP_DMS.
- Record all drawings issued on relevant spreadsheets and Intranet.
- Saving of the relevant documents in digital file/folders in delegated system areas.
- Liaise with ICT when required (Information and Communications Technology) department.
- Use SAP_DMS to upload documents for issue.
- Experience in technical and administrative dept.
- Experience related to knowledge, and capability to understand Technical drawings and documentation.
- Good organizational skills.
- Conscientious with Excellent attention to detail
- Self-motivated.
- Excellent team worker
- Able to work in the office full time. (Possible, occasional working from home can be evaluated and agreed)
- Document digitalization and/or photo/image editing experience.
- SAP ERP experience
- VPM/WEX(enovia) virtual product model experience
- Experience with Excel and Word.
- Excellent Time keeper
6 month contract
