Are you an experienced Air Export Operator looking for a new challenge in Manchester? Our client, a leading freight forwarder, is seeking a dedicated and proactive individual to join their busy team.
As an Air Export Operator you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end air import process, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Handling air export shipments from start to finish.
- Liaising with airlines, overseas agents, and customers.
- Preparing and processing all necessary documentation (AWBs, customs entries, delivery orders).
- Arranging collections and deliveries.
- Monitoring shipment progress and providing updates to clients.
- Resolving any operational issues efficiently.
- Ensuring compliance with customs regulations and company procedures.
- Proven experience as an Air Export Operator within a freight forwarding environment.
- Strong knowledge of air freight procedures and customs regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in relevant industry software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Highly organised with meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Salary up to £38k
