Supply Chain Efficiency Manager

Location: Field Based, with travel to all relevant sites in our network.

Job Length: Permanent

Working Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Flexibility required to work hours to suit business needs.

About the role:

Join Carlsberg Britvic as a Supply Chain Efficiency Manager and help improve the future of our logistics network. In this pivotal role, you’ll use data, insight, and operational expertise to improve productivity, develop smarter ways of working, and support depots across the UK in delivering safe, efficient, and cost‑effective operations. If you’re methodical, commercially sharp, and dedicated to continuous improvement, this is your chance to implement real change in a business home to some of the nation’s most iconic brands.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Develop accurate productivity measures and KPIs across warehouse and distribution operations (e.g., picking, replenishment, vehicle loading, shift utilisation, cost-per-unit).
  • Build, maintain, and interpret detailed cost-to-serve models for Primary and Secondary supply chain routes-to-market.
  • Analyse operational data to support supply chain projects, business cases, and improvement initiatives.
  • Review depot resource levels and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce cost, and enhance productivity.
  • Investigate best practices across the network and create tailored improvement plans with depot teams.
  • Provide comprehensive financial and operational insight to support budget setting and contract renewals.
  • Produce and maintain BI reports, ensuring data is accurate, meaningful, and actionable.
  • Work collaboratively with depot teams, travelling as needed to support consistent standards and continuous improvement.

Experience and Key Attributes:

  • Advanced analytical capability, including high-level Excel skills (VBA/Macros), with Power BI experience desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to construct financial or cost-to-serve models in a supply chain setting.
  • Extensive operational understanding of warehousing and/or distribution, including WMS and SAP proficiency.
  • Solid knowledge of depot P&L, budgeting, and operational cost drivers.
  • Experience delivering improvement projects, such as layout optimisation, automation, or WMS enhancements.
  • Effective communication, negotiating, and relationship-building skills with senior operational stakeholders.
  • Efficiency and cost-focused mindset, combined with a safety‑first approach and willingness to travel.
