Speech and Language Therapist – Band 6/7 – Schools SEND Team in Princes Risborough (UK) – £35-£40 Hourly

This is an exciting locum opportunity for a Band 6/7 Speech and Language Therapist to join our Schools SEND Team within Special Educational Needs and Disabilities in Princes Risborough, starting ASAP and ongoing. What you will do:

• Provide therapy in a school setting for pupils aged 11-18 with complex needs, including social, emotional, and mental health challenges, communication and interaction difficulties, and associated challenging behaviour.
• Assist senior clinicians in ensuring all team members have access to a SALT-based framework for client care through advice, consultation, clinical supervision, and sharing SALT knowledge, research, and theory.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of best evidence-based practices within the service.
• Maintain excellence in communication programmes for individuals within the designated services.
• Exercise professional responsibility based on the Code of Professional Conduct and Ethics of the relevant SALT professional body.
• Ensure the highest standards of clinical record keeping and report writing.

Requirements:

• Must be registered with the HCPC.
• Minimum of two years’ experience in a similar role.
• Valid UK driving licence preferred.
