A specialized education provider is searching for a qualified Speech and Language Therapist (Band 5 or 6) in Barking & Dagenham. Qualifications

  • Must be a qualified speech and language therapist.
  • Experience with children and young people who have severe and profound learning difficulties is essential.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Responsibilities

  • Provide onsite SALT service for pupils.
  • Join the School Trust therapy hub and work across three school sites.
  • Supervised by a Lead Specialist and collaborate with therapists and support staff.

Skills

Experience in specialist school settings
NHS Band 5 or 6 SALT experience
Experience with complex needs including PMLD, SLD, and Autism
Ability to develop AAC programmes
