The Role
We are seeking an employment law solicitor to join theEmployment team of this top 50 law firm, based in Manchester. The role involves working for employers in the commercial and education sectors, closely collaborating with senior team members. You will assist in developing and promoting the Manchester employment practice, advising employers on both contentious and non-contentious employment matters, and engaging in business development activities.
The Person
- 2 - 4 years’ PQE, with experience in a reputable firm with a substantive employment law practice.
The Skills
- Clear enthusiasm for employment law
- Excellent drafting and presentational skills
- Ability to take the lead on Employment Tribunal matters and run matters with supervision
- Keen interest in developing client training skills
- High level of IT skills, along with marketing and business development skills
