A leading recruitment firm is looking for an Experienced Financial Controller in Colchester. The role involves taking full ownership of the finance function, managing reporting, budgeting, and forecasting, while ensuring compliance and providing strategic financial insights. Candidates should be qualified accountants with excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, and proficiency in accounting software. This position offers a competitive salary and autonomy in a key finance role.

- Proven experience in a similar stand-alone role.
- Qualified as ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent.
- Ability to influence and advise senior stakeholders.
Responsabilidades
- Manage all aspects of the finance function including month-end and year-end reporting.
- Prepare accurate management accounts and financial statements.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and VAT returns.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and liaise with external auditors.
- Provide strategic financial insights to support business growth.
- Implement and maintain robust financial controls.
