Job summary
A local care support company in Plymouth is seeking an experienced female Complex Support Worker to assist a client in daily activities, including home management and community access. The ideal candidate will have a caring approach and the ability to handle challenging situations. Skills
Job Description: Are you an experienced female Complex Support Worker in the Plymouth area and able to work 28 hours plus sleep shifts? The role of a Complex Support Worker requires supporting individuals with varying levels of challenging behaviours which will be safely managed by multiple staff to person ratio along with systems to support the person’s needs with a positive approach. You will be trained to a high level from mandatory training, right through to safety intervention training.
- We are currently recruiting for Miss K to assist in the running of her home.
- You will need to be robust and confident in dealing with challenging situations but have a caring, patient approach with flexibility to meet the needs of Miss K’s.
- Miss K likes shopping and getting a good bargain, listening to music, dancing, board games, cooking, baking, sensory activities. Her favourite movies are Flash Dance and Camp Rock.
- Other responsibilities will include assisting the client to access the community, maintain their tenancies and pay bills etc.
- Complex Days - £13.05/hour
- Sleep in: £74 each
- 8:00-22:00
- 22:00-8:00
Contracted hours: 28hrs per week
