Job summary
A leading engineering support firm in Exeter is seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical or Multiskilled) to ensure the continued operation of production machinery. Candidates should have experience in troubleshooting and preventative maintenance. The role requires familiarity with electrical and mechanical documentation. This position offers various shift options, contributing to a dynamic work environment.
Qualifications
- Candidates must have experience in Mechanical or Multiskilled Maintenance Engineering.
- Ability to troubleshoot breakdowns and carry out maintenance on machinery is essential.
- Familiarity with electrical and mechanical drawings is required.

- Perform preventative and planned maintenance work.
- Contribute to improvement initiatives for equipment reliability.

Are you an experienced Mechanical or Multiskilled MaintenanceEngineer or Maintenance Technician ? Candidates with a Mechanical biasare needed within this busy engineering facility. You will be responsible for the daily maintenance andrepair(preventative and emergency) of a wide range of production and engineering machinery . Previous experience in an Industrial Maintanence Engineering role is essential. Various shifts available including : 3 shift, swing shift and possibly a continental shift for highly experienced Maintenance Technicians.
- Minimise production downtime by trouble shooting breakdowns and preventing reoccurrences.
- Work with electrical and mechanical drawings and documentation undertake fault finding and modification of plant and equipment.
- Use a Maintenance Management System carry out preventative / planned maintenance work.
- Contribute to improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing equipment reliability and reducing recurring issues.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment adhering to all EHS Company policies.
- Continuously enhance job knowledge through training and development opportunities.
