Job summary

A construction industry leader is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer at their Kidderminster site. The ideal candidate will maintain electrical equipment, troubleshoot issues, and ensure safe operations in a dynamic manufacturing environment. Strong electrical skills and a level 3 qualification in Electrical Engineering are required. Qualifications

  • Experience of working in a manufacturing or factory environment.
  • Committed to safe working practices.
  • Physically fit to perform various duties.

Responsibilities

  • Install and maintain all electrical & electro-mechanical plant equipment.
  • Operate a preventative electrical maintenance system.
  • Troubleshoot issues and perform repairs.
  • Program Siemens & other programmable logic controllers.
  • Use testing equipment to locate and remedy faults.

Skills

Strong team playing skills
Good communication (written and verbal)
Good working knowledge of environment, health, and safety (EHS) processes
Analytical & problem-solving skills
Diagnostics experience of electrical motors and pneumatics
Experience and knowledge of PLCs

Education

Minimum level 3 qualification in an Electrical Engineering discipline
17th / 18th edition qualification (desirable)
HNC or HND qualification (or equivalent) (desirable)
