You will be responsible for providing both personal tax compliance and advisory services to clients through managing a portfolio and supporting the team. It is essential that candidates are fully CTA Qualified

• Personal Tax Compliance & Advisory Services : Provide comprehensive personal tax compliance and advisory services, effectively managing a diverse portfolio of individual clients.
• Portfolio Management : Oversee a portfolio of personal tax compliance accounts, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of services.
• Support to Tax Director : Assist the Tax Director in delivering expert advice on UK income tax, capital gains tax, inheritance tax, and matters of residence and domicile.
• Client Planning & Advisory : Identify and advise on strategic planning opportunities for clients, particularly during tax return reviews and other relevant communications.
• Team Collaboration : Collaborate effectively with the team to meet deadlines and exceed client expectations.
• Teamwork & Delegation : Work well within a team, delegating tasks efficiently to junior team members.
• Work-In-Progress (WIP) Management : Manage WIP effectively, including setting and meeting client expectations, ensuring recoverability, proposing fees, invoicing, and timely cash collection.
• Risk Management : Demonstrate strong risk management skills, particularly in client acceptance and engagement processes.
• Technical & Market Awareness : Stay informed about technical and market developments, ensuring up-to-date knowledge and practices.

• Fully qualified Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) is essential
• A degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and multitasking ability.
• Knowledge of tax law and regulations.
• Proficiency in tax software and related systems.
• A commitment to delivering outstanding client service.
