Job summary
A leading civil engineering contractor is looking for a Site Agent to join their team for a sea defence project in Weston Super Mare. The ideal candidate will have a civil engineering background and relevant qualifications such as HNC or HND, along with SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid. Responsibilities include managing project delivery, enforcing health and safety measures, and developing client relationships. This is a critical role for ensuring the project is executed successfully and safely.
Qualifications
- Proven background in civil engineering with a focus on site management.
- Experience managing teams of sub-agents, engineers, and foreman.
- Ability to develop relationships with clients and personnel.
Responsibilities
- Manage the delivery of projects on time and within budget.
- Ensure health and safety regulations are enforced on site.
- Coordinate and ensure safe completion of all works.

Site Agent required to join leading civil engineering contractor on sea defence project in the Weston Super Mare area. The Site Agent would come from a civil engineering background with previous experience in highways, roads, groundworks, RC works, earthworks, deep drainage, externals and heavy civils. The Site Agent would preferably have relevant construction degree HNC or HND with SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid. The Site Agent will be managing sub agents, engineers and foreman, ensure delivery of project on time and budget, develop relationships with clients, consultants and site personnel, ensure health and safety is enforced and all works are completed safely.
